I believe Iria was wrongly saying the right thing about Scott Roeder
I suspect we will find that Scott Roeder will be accused of being a conservative Christian, (which you may find myself guilty of... kinda), as well as a murderer, (both of which seem to be capital crimes today). I went to Seminary with a man who was convicted of bombing an "abortuary" (as they so love to call them), I KNOW he did it, he mentioned it too me once in passing. In her article Iria, mentions that, "I hope you can see that murder... is wrong... you also know that taking a life via murder (repetitive?) is a sin, period..."
With THAT I beg to differ Mame, if you are telling us of sin, you should study Good a bit more. In Josh. 11:10-15, you will find the REAL "sin describer" (aka, God) told His emissaries to the their new land to put "under the ban (or bain)", vs 11, NOONE was left who breathed, women and children, none. So murder or killing, can be blessed of God. BUT she is correct to conclude that you cant "kill the headache by cutting off the head."
Abortion is a SOCIETAL sin, causing SOCIETAL grief, pain and death. You can NOT kill it by killing those who live off of its proceeds. It can ONLY be killed as we convert each heart who would consider killing the fruit of conception... to Jesus. HE is the ONLY hope. Killing "for Him" can not be.
