As the world soccer fans' attention focuses on the FIFA's World Cup draw that will take place nearly in 2.5 hours time in Cape Town, another pressing issue is surfacing.
The issue of homelessness has been a big problem for the South African nation and the society. Now the homeless people in the South African cities feel marginalized as the cities feel the pressure to clean up the streets ahead of the FIFA's 2010 World Cup finals in South Africa.
South African cities are making huge investments ahead of the games. "One of the biggest infrastructure investment projects is in the 2010 FIFA Soccer World Cup. We have, as government and the nation at large, pledged that the World Cup will leave a proud legacy from which our children and our communities will benefit for many years to come," Zuma said previously.
In the meanwhile excitement grows in Cape Town with the upcoming draws.
