You have probably heard the rumors about Aptera moving into a new building. Well, they're true! And, we're just days away from the big move. In our next newsletter we'll include lots of pictures, but until then we'll be up to our necks in boxes.

There's lots going on here at Aptera. We're getting ready for our big move to our new building, which will house our offices, R&D facilities, and manufacturing. It's a good thing we're moving soon, because we're hiring lots of new people (more on that below). We've also been making some amazing refinements to the vehicle. We'll fill you in on all of those refinements in the upcoming newsletter, but in the meantime we thought you'd enjoy a sneak peak at the latest version of the Aptera.

The latest rev of the Aptera design is the most efficient and safest yet. Can you pick out the refinements? Stay tuned for the full story in our next newsletter!

Aptera team is growing fast! Between May 12th and August 8th we hired 21 incredible people to join the Aptera team. That's two people each week. There's so many new faces around here that we created a team web with Polaroids of everybody in the company.

Aptera was at Gordon McCall's Motorworks Revival in Monterey, a famous kickoff event for the annual Concours d'Elegance in Pebble Beach. We'd parked our Aptera right next to an F/A18 fighter jet, surrounded by Ferraris, Bugatti Veyrons, Lamborghini Reventons, a Rolls Royce Phantom Drophead Coupe, and tens of millions of dollars of personal jets and other toys for the rich and famous.

Aptera was the only vehicle on display that was available for less than a small fortune. But despite our low price tag, we were the highlight of the show. The whole team had to be on hand for the duration of the show because attendees were so excited about the Aptera that they flocked to us to take pictures and talk about the vehicle. Huge thanks to our Advisory Board members, Bob Kavner and Bill Warner who got us the invite.

So now, does anyone know how we can crash the Detroit Auto Show?
