Ashley Todd, the 20 years old student from Texas and a John McCain supporter, who was attacked today thanks her supporters in her blog and encourages people to vote for McCain.
Ashley Todd's blog had not been updated since the end of September, but she has been very active in Twitter.

This sounds like a stunt by an attention seeking low self-esteem young woman.
Looking at the photo purporting to be Ms. Todd, it is odd how while the eye is very black, there is absolutely no swelling...

The woman also told police her attacker "called her a lot of names and stated that 'You are going to be a Barack supporter,' at which time she states he sat on her chest, pinning both her hands down with his knees, and scratched into her face a backward letter 'B' on the right side of her face using what she believed to be a very dull knife."
I have read that some say the B is backward because the ''attacker'' was above her. Well, her own statement debunks that. The whole thing is ridiculous. A crazed man who supposedly punched and kicked oh so very gently carved a perfect backwards B in her face? Are you kidding? Does ANYONE seriously believe this?
