Ernst and Young has been working in the Armenian auditing and accounting market for many years and intends to expand its activity.
The President greeted the initiative of expanding the auditing and market share activity in Armenia, taking into consideration the high rating, role and great experience of the organization in the fields of audit, tax, law and advocacy.
Serzh Sargsyan said the business auditing is not well-developed in Armenia. During the recent years the Armenian government has assumed large-scale reforms in the fields of accounting and auditing and needs assistance.
President of the Board of Directors and Executive Director of Ernst and Young James Turley linked the decision of enlarging the activity in Armenia with the growth of the country’s economy and market, greater international involvement. He noted that they are willing to provide assistance to the growing business environment of Armenia.
