Urgent Email From Obama As Exit Polls Results Are Emerging

As the early exit polls and results are coming out from Kentuky, Indiana and other six states Barack Obama's campaign just released an urgent email calling for action. See Obama's email below.

Please join me and help Barack Obama by calling voters immediately as we see the results of the exit polls of 2008 presidential election. If we can get 2,000 Kossacks to call in the next hour, the email I just received (after the jump) will have made its mark.

National Call Team,

Barack needs your help right now -- our data indicates that the results will be very close in many states. I can't emphasize enough how urgent this message is. Please go to our website and start calling as soon as you can.

We are not going to hit our goal of 500,000 calls for today by 3pm Central, unless we get at least 2,000 more people calling for the next hour.

Can you call now and continue for as long as you can manage?

Update: This is amazing - we have over 130 people now calling, but we need more. THIS is what the tubes can do - an email from Obama turns into the most rec'd diary, and the loop continues.

I am an American living in Canada, but my hope and faith has been with you from the beginning.
It is finally a real person working for and with us..Obama thank you. I am a person from a hard past and you give us all faith. You should be proud of yourself, and I wanted to congratulate you!

I AM AN AMERICAN RESIDING IN CANADA AND I HAVE BEEN FOLLOWING THIS ELECTION AS I HAVE NEVER DONE BEFORE. THERE IS A QUALITY OF LEADERSHIP AND HUMBLENESS THAT OBAMA HAS THAT MAKES US FEEL AS THOUGH HE IS RIGHT THERE WITH US DURING OUR STRUGGLES. WE WISH THE BEST FOR HIM AND HIS FAMILY AND HOPE FOR THE CHANGE HE HAS PROMISED US ALL. I HAVE NEVER HEARD OF OR SEEN SUCH AWARENESS FROM ALL RACES AND AGES OF PEOPLE IN ANY OTHER ELECTION. WE FINALLY HAVE SOME HOPE AND BELIEF THAT IT DOES ONLY TAKE ONE PERSON TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE. I CRIED DURING THE ANNOUNCEMENT OF HIS PRESIDENCY AND COULD ONLY IMAGINE HOW VALIDATED THE AFRICAN AMERICAN PEOPLE FELT IN REALIZING ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE AND ALL PEOPLE REALLY ARE AND SHOULD BE EQUAL.
