A new entrant in the web of social networking REIZIT is a place for people to discover and share products, gadgets and goods from anywhere on the web.
REIZIT comes fromthe word Raise It, which aims to raise awareness with the help of the public about better products and consumer goods.
More and more people trust the knowledge and expertise of other friends when buying gifts and products online, especially during this time of the holiday shopping. "When it comes to finding a good deal, I am relying more and more on recommendations by friends. It is good to know that I have friends at Reizit.com that are there to help guide my search," says David Buchanan of Audiocollective.com.
Reizt comes to do just that, helping online retailers and the community members to freely place their products and have the general public with the community members to vote for them and share knowledge about the products.
One way www.Reizit.com clearly differs from other social networks and content sharing is that it accepts only products and consumer goods. In otherwords you submit not information or news about a particular product, but actually the link to the page where the product is being sold. Other visitors, if they like your submission, vote up and recommend your product submission. Comments are also available to college common knowledge.
Voting products up and burrying them is Reizit's cornerstone function. Many products and consumer goods will get submitted every day, but only the most voted-up product links will appear on the front page, called the Popular Products.
A special feature widget called Reizit Bookmarklet in user's Profile Page allows the user to drag the Bookmarklet to the top of the browser bar and submit any product from any retail page to Reizit.
Reizit, is a community that helps to raise awareness about better products, gadgets and services by sharing information about those products and gadgets with the community members. You see a cool product and think people may like it. You can submit the link of this product's sales page to Reizit.com thus initiating the first phase of the awareness. Then the members of the community, if they like, vote for your product and as the submitted product recives sufficient votes and comments it is promoted to the front page for better exposure. Reizit.com is not about submitting news or information but links to those pages where the products and gadgets are actually sold. We hope to make Reizit a favorite destination for consumers and marketers.
