Last night at least 38 passengers were injured when the Continental Airlines's plane crashed during the take off. The jet veered off Denver runway and catched fire.

Airport updates this morning:

Passengers scheduled to travel to or from Denver International Airport on December 21and 22 are encouraged to contact their airline to verify if their flight is scheduled to be on time

Due to an incident at Denver International Airport on December 20, the airfield remains partially closed and airport officials are anticipating operational delays of 40 minutes or more as a result of an inability to use three of the airport’s six runways.

Denver International Airport is working with all parties involved to reopen the airport to full capacity as soon as possible. We ask that passengers please be patient and allow themselves as much time as possible when traveling through the airport.
