Polish Homless Gives Birth In London Subway Station

According to a story reported by Reuters a Polish homeless woman, named Julia Kowalska, gave birth in a London subway station thus becoming the second person in history to give birth in the underground rail station, confirms the London's Transport Authority.

Reuters reports:

Julia Kowalska was travelling with her sister on the network's Jubilee line when her contractions started.

She got off at Kingsbury, in north-west London, and gave birth to a healthy baby girl in the station supervisor's office, assisted by an ambulance crew.

She was taken to the nearby Northwick Park Hospital and was discharged after four days, a hospital spokeswoman said.
