Natalie Dylan's Virginity Auction Is Deplorable

A U.S. 22 years old woman Natalie Dylan has started a virginity auction selling her virginity and has already received a bid for $3.7 million according to Daily Telegraph.

Natalie Dylan is a student from San Diego, California who's purpose of the virginity auction is to fund her education. She says already more than 10000 men have participated in her virginity auction and it has reached to nonsense $3.7 million dollars.

We question how different is this from prostitution and why major news outlets such as the Daily Telegraph and Fox News get the attention of Natalie Dylan's virginity auction while tens of thousands of children go hungry in the world and the societies are challenged with more pressing issues.

FOX News writes that "Dylan has a degree in women's studies. She told the paper she hopes to pay for an advanced degree in family and marriage therapy with the proceeds from the auction.

"Natalie Dylan told the Telegraph that she doesn't think she's the only one who will be benefit from the auction.

"I think me and the person I do it with will both profit greatly from the deal," Dylan told the paper."

Here is what else Natalie tells to Daily Telegraph ""I know that a lot of people will condemn me for this because it's so taboo but I really don't have a problem with that.

"My study is completely authentic in that I truly am auctioning my virginity but I am not being sold into this. I'm not being taken advantage of in any way."

Are you saying that 3.7 million dollar price tag is not "being sold?"

Natalie Dylan's auction is another low level of our society's morality and shows how far we have gone in our view of values and relativity. Since when the virginity became an auction commodity for sale?

Few words about the men who are willing to pay this price to win Natalie Dylan's virginity auction. It's unbelieveable that someone's mind will drive him to that decision of few hours of pleasure compared to the joy, happiness and reward that could bring him and thousands of poor and disadvantaged children and adults in our poor neighborhoods and in the developing world.

Natalie Dylan things that the person who pays and wins her virginity auction will win too. What type of victory are we talking about? Is it being a celebrity who got the international media attention?

We all lose. Our children will just grow and be formed in a society where virginity auction may be OK to fund education or it may be OK to pay someone 3.7 million dollars to take her virginity.

This is absolutely unacceptable.
