A British man had the luckiest day of his life (Dutch) when he was roaming the countryside with his metal detector: he stumbled upon a gold treasure burried for more than 2000 years.
Every single of the 824 coins is made of pure gold and weighs 5 grams. Most of the coins have a horse depicted on them. The treasure had a value of roughly one million Euro when the Celtic tribe burried it. Experts say that the treasure was an offering to the Gods.
It is an incredibly important discoverly, archeologists say; never before have so many golden coins been found in Britain. The lucky finder probably agrees considering the value of the treasure.
