According to AP report a teenager golf player from Japan Ryo Ishikawa will make a debut in PGA golf tournament.

"Ishikawa will make his first Tour appearance on a sponsor's exemption at the March 19-22 event at Innisbrook in Palm Harbor, Florida, the Nikkansports newspaper reported Wednesday.

"The 17-year-old Ryo Ishikawa, who helped Asia beat Europe to win the Royal Trophy match play event for the first time earlier this month, has revived interest in men's golf in Japan."

According to Wikipedia On 20 May 2007, Ryo Ishikawa became the youngest winner ever of a men's regular tournament on the Japan Golf Tour by winning[1] the Munsingwear Open KSB Cup at the age 15 years and 8 months. He competed as an amateur and it was Ishikawa's first tour appearance. He finished one shot ahead of Japan's 9th top ranked player at the time, Katsumasa Miyamoto. The highest ranked player on the Official World Golf Ranking who took part in the event was Toru Taniguchi who finished T13, 6 shots shy of Ishikawa. Taniguchi ranked number 86 in the world after the event.

Ishikawa turned professional in 2008[4] and won another Japan Golf Tour tournament, the mynavi ABC Championship. By the close of 2008 he had became the youngest ever player to reach the top 100 of the Official World Golf Rankings.

Roy Ishikawa was invited to play in the PGA Tour's Arnold Palmer Invitational at Bay Hill in 2009. Is first PGA Tour event, however, is expected to be the Northern Trust Open at Riviera Country Club.

Roy will also make a start on the PGA Tour the week before the Arnold Palmer Invitational at the Transitions Championship.
