Aptera Car Cooler Than iPhone

Aptera Motors in its latest newsletter asks if "You Thought the iPhone Was Cool." Below is an update from Aptera on where the company stands on its most fuel efficient car production. This car, when in mass production, may help to lessen America's dependence on foreign oil and energy.

We're continually tossing around ideas about ways to further improve your experience behind the wheel of an Aptera. Currently, we're working on a technology that combines GPS and Internet capabilities, allowing the computer system in your future 2e to function much like an iPhone.

Imagine this: you decide you want to see the Clint Eastwood flick "Gran Torino" after work. Our new technology will let you type in the movie title on your 2e's computer and it will list all of the theaters between work and home where the movie is playing. Not only that, you can then purchase the tickets right from your vehicle.

The system can show you routes to your desired destinations, as well as how far you can travel before your charge runs out. You can press another button and find all the charging stations along your route. And the best part is you can download new applications to enhance your driving experience even more.

The technology is still in the development phase, but we're very excited about it and thought you would be as well. We'll keep you posted on our progress in future issues of the newsletter.

Business Update: The 2e is Ready for its Close-up

Depositors, media and the general public are welcome to check out the newly completed 2e prototype at various events throughout California beginning in February. The fully-functioning pre-production model makes its formal debut at the Feb. 3-7 Technology, Entertainment and Design Conference in Long Beach, where attendees will experience the 2e during a scenic cruise along Ocean Boulevard, Pine Avenue and The Pike at Long Beach.
