Since 1974 Volkswagen Golf has been Germany's favorite car almost every year and the new Golf VI has already received good feedback everywhere.
A lot of people bought their own Golf VI and now ABT offers a special upgrade kit for this car that will underline the fine character of the Golf VI and make it unique car for each driver.
The German tuners designed a new body kit made from an aggressive front spoiler and grille, side skirts and a new rear skirt and rear spoiler which make the ABT Golf VI more stylish and dynamic. The car's exterior received an extra dose of sportiness after they installed an angled 4-pipe muffler tip and AR and BR alloy wheels.
However, this was not enough for the guys from ABT and they also prepared some performance improvements for the new Volkswagen Golf. The Aero Package contains a modified coil over suspension system, with new springs and a new sports brakings system that improves this car's handling a lot.
Under the hood the magic word was downsizing and it was very effective with the 1.4 TSI engine that delivers 180 HP, 20 HP more than the stock version of this engine. That power is almost the same as the power delivered by the normal 2.0 TSI but the downsized engine provides similar performances at lower emissions and with less fuel usage.
They also prepared power upgrades for other engines and now the sporty two liter car has 240 HP instead of 210 HP and the 2.0 TDI engine impresses with strong torque and 170 HP.
The 2009 ABT Golf VI is a car that would impress anyone with unique styling, modern technology, strong performances and an aggressive personality that would make any customer like a race driver.
