The most pierced woman Elaine Davidson who already won Guinness World Record in 2002 for 462 body piercing added to her collection this yea and keeps the title of the most pierced woman for herself.
Elaine Davidson, according to Telegraph and other online reports now has 6005 piercing, which includes 1,500 of them that are "internal."
Don't ask me what that "internal" means. I don't know.
Telegraph reports that despite her eye-watering record as the most pierced woman, Elaine Davidson, born in Brazil, claims she doesn't like being pierced, and suffers for her art.
She said: "I don't enjoy getting pierced, but to break the record you have to get to a high level.
"I wanted to break the record.
"My family don't even like tattoos or piercings.
"But I am happy. I decided to change myself and be me."
The most pierced woman has her own website. Elaine tells in the website about herself.
"Elaine Davidson has spent many years carrying out body piercing and tattooing. Indeed at this time she holds the World record for Piercings on herself (presently in excess of 4,000) which means that when she performs body art on her clients they can be sure of a safe, experienced and friendly service.
"In addition to piercing, hair braiding and tattoo work, her shop which is located conveniently in the centre of Edinburgh also supplies Aromatherapy products, Jewelry and specialised clothing."
In the About Elaine Davidson section we read that "Elaine never removes the rings and studs, which she estimates weigh a total of three kilos. She insists there is no pain involved in piercing and sleeps soundly with all 500 of her piercing ornaments in place.
"A lady of many talents, Elaine also sleeps on a bed of nails, walks on fire and lays on broken glass, and holds a black belt in Judo which she earned in Japan."
