A story published in today's TurboTax details ten very odd tax deductions that IRS actually allows and that you can have in case you still have to file your taxes today or applying for an IRS tax extension.

TurboTax has outlined some outlandish tax deductions to help you increase your tax refund. We've uncovered what we think are the weirdest deductions allowed, from pet food to free beer to (we're not kidding) a girlfriend.

First, let's see what you can't claim in your tax deductions. According to the story you can't claim tax deduction "for all those blood donations at the Red Cross." You can't claim tax deduction for "charitable contribution for all the time I donate to the church." Note that the word time is the key word here. The money that you spend on doing a charitable volunteer work may be different and your tax accountant will be able to help you with that. You can't claim "the wedding gift for the boss's daughter as an employee business expense."

Now let's see what odd things you can claim as a tax deduction.

1. Pet food
2. Moving the family pet
3. A trip to Bermuda
4. Body oil
5. A private airplane
6. Babysitting fees
7. Breast augmentation
8. Landscaping
9. Free beer
10. Swimming pool
