The results of the April 15, 2009 American Idol took an interesting turn as the judges used one time season save. This means a contestant is saved by judges even if he or she is eliminated by the funds, and this is just what happened yesterday.
It has been a long journey for this years American Idol contestants and tonight another one of them was almost sent home when Matt Giraud was eliminated by fans and then saved by the judges on a night of April 15, 2009. Indeed the results would have been different if this did not happen.

Matt Giraud - Bottom Three
Anoop was saved and sent back to the couch. Matt was eliminated (Lil saved). Matt SAVED by the judges means that next week will feature a double elimination.
