Ashley Furniture Store Reopens in Richmond Area

According to Roanoke.com the new owners is still getting the phone lines and the story in order after being closed a year. However, customers can buy furniture there, but delivery won't begin until proper trucks arrive in Roanoke, which could be later this week.

The Ashley Furniture store opening is just in time for the local residents as Spring is favorite time of the year for a home improvement project.

The new Ashley Furniture storefront has 45,000 square feet of space. It's large and very spacious. The new owner does not disclose how much he paid for the ownership rights. Ashley Furniture has 350 stories nationwide.

For now, some furniture is discounted 25 percent at the Roanoke Ashley store. Shipments of new furniture are on the way, Stiles said. Plans also are in the works to open a local Ashley Furniture warehouse, said Zeidan to Roanoke.com.
