Artist Galina Rusanova Drinks Liquid Soap To Overcome Fear

The news agencies are reporting that a Siberia born artist Galina Rusanova has allegedly attacked the crew members in a flight from Maine to UK while being drunk. Galina Rusanova is a Russian painter who is currently based in Great Britain.

Galina Rusanova is a respected artist in UK, but according to Telegraph she has found "unwanted notoriety for mixing wine and prescription drugs before allegedly drinking liquid hand soap and attacking flight attendants on a trans-Atlantic flight.

"Rusanova is spending the weekend in jail in the US state of Maine, following her arrest last week. She is said to have begun "snapping like a dog" and tried to bite the leg of a crew member on the flight, according to court documents."

According to Daily Mail Galina Rusanova told FBI agents after her arrests that "she took prescription pills and drank wine because she has a fear of flying.

"She claimed that she took sleeping pills and an antidepressant and drank two or three small bottles of red wine once on board the plane. She remembered talking about the seating and the quality of the wine but little else, the documents state."

Daily Mail also discloses that "according to court documents, after her arrest she spent the night at Eastern Maine Medical Center for observation and is said to have told FBI agents: 'It's typical of me. I sometimes do crazy things.'"

On her website galina-rusanova.com we read that Galina has had two very successful exhibitions in St. John's Wood in London in 2004 and 2005. Auction, at Ansbacher Bank, February 2007, ten of her paintings were sold.

Galina Rusanova's works are in private collections in the USA, France, Russia, and England. Her art works are selling in the "hang:ups" Art Gallery in St.John's Wood, and in Gallery "Hey Hill", in Mayfair. Galina draws inspiration from her dreams, she feels that most of the time life is very black and white and enjoys filling it with colour. She has been based in the United Kingdom for the past twenty years.
