Travel Leisure City Survey Ends Monday

What Travel and Leisure wants to know from the public is this: Which Cities are AFC-Worthy (America's Favorite Cities 2009). The polls close on May 18 at noon. Interestingly Detroit, MI is a candidate for America's Favorite Cities 2009 as well.

From the list you can choose up to five cities. Currently Travel and Leisure list includes the following cities.

* Anchorage, AK
* Cleveland, OH
* Houston, TX
* Memphis, TN
* Salt Lake City, UT
* Baltimore, MD
* Detroit, MI
* Kansas City, MO
* Providence, RI
* St. Louis, MO

Already 25 U.S. cities have become the winners of Leisure and Travel's America's Favorite Cities. May 18 winners will join the list of the veteran cities. It is expected that the winning cities may get more tourists and visitors. Thus, it helps to create a good city image and boost the local economy to a degree.
