NBC's reports on John Wall's UK commitment are based on reference to Scout.com. "Scout.com is reporting the nation's number one point guard and number two recruit overall John Walls will be a Wildcat. Wall has reportedly committed to UK and Coach John Calipari.
"Wall said he had a meeting Monday night with those close to him, including his traveling team coach Brian Clifton and told Scout.com, "I've been thinking about it for the last couple of weeks. I sat down and prayed and thought about it. Last night we had a meeting and I just came out and told Brian."
Joh Wall was deciding from among four schools; UK, Duke, Miami and Florida.
On the other hand ESPN has a short message by a senior writer Andy Katz reading that "Wall informed Miami coach Frank Haith Tuesday morning that he committed to Kentucky because he just wanted to play for Calipari."
Local Kentucky Sports Radio has reported a news this morning about John Wall's Kentucky commitment. "So, get up and celebrate, folks. It was a long, strange ride, but the Cats finally got my man crush the type of point guard who can make them a preseason favorite for a title. Make no mistake, John Wall is that special of a player. Tody is a HUGE day."
