At this time it's not known what is happening in Rumson, NJ, but according to MyFox New York, homes in this affluent neighborhood in New Jersey are being evacuated. SWAT teams are in Rumson, NJ.
Reports say that the authorities reported to a shooting in this neighborhood and apprently the suspect is in custody.
According to Redbankgreen.com the authorities are not talking yet on the record.
"An earlier report said police were checking area hospitals and searching locally for a man with a possible gunshot wound.
"Sources say the suspect is the same well-armed man whose distraught condition led authorities to surround his Ridge Road home in February. In that incident, 49-year-old Seth Kronengold was charged with possession of an illegal assault rifle. A relative had called police in concern for his mental state over tax issues and the loss of his car in a repossession."
Rumson is east of Red Bank. The SWAT Teams came in Friday morning. Rumson is an affluent bedroom community in the New York City area in NJ. It is a borough in Monmouth County, in the New York metro area.
