Google News Goes Down, Comes Up

I looked up some twitter discussions and new Twits are coming from various parts of USA about Google News being down.

Here are some Twits about Google News Error

Rickyxy writs "it looks like google news channel has took some hit around 4:30pm." We have started to note the errors with Google News actually earlier perhaps about 4PM EST.

One thing that we found interesting is that some people report getting 503 errors, while here in NC we are getting 502 error when trying to access Google News.

Jeffguillaume writes "Weird... news.google.com has a 503 Server Error." However, here is at least one report that this person is getting 502 error about Google News. CorYroc writes "what is up with google lately? trying to do a search with their "news" engine and get nothing more than a 502 error. FAIL."

Therefore, the current confirmation is that Google News is down at least in some parts of the United States. Some people report getting 502 while others get 503 errors.
