After the first half is over Barcelona is leading the UEFA Champions League 2009 Final with 1-0. Manchester United started very actively and then no one knows what happened.
During the 9th minute Manchester United had 9 kicks toward the gate of Barcelona and there was zero response from Barca. However, on the 9th minute Barcelona literally spearheaded and got its first goal.
Manchester in the beginning 5 minutes posed a really serious threat to Barcelona. The name of Cristiano Ronaldo was always sounding from the mouth of the TV commentator. Then at some point Barcelona got more confidence and really was in charge of the ball during most of the first half.
Manchester United was successful at some points in trying to organize an offensive. But then, it left an impression that it does not know what to do with offensive. Probably they were very much surprised by the Barcelona's unexpected quick advance.
Some have found the first half boring. Leigh__Evans "boring first half in the Champions League final, good 2 have Barca score first thou! Just need ex-Arsenal players Henry & Sylvinho 2 score!" Perhaps Manchester will do better during the second half of UEFA Champions League final of 2009.
