Johnny Depp Leaves a $4,000 Tip for Dinner

Johnny Depp was dining with his 15 member entourage, which included Michael Mann, the film’s director, and Marion Cotillard, an actress from the film, at Gibsons’ restaurant after the premier. The dinner party ate and relaxed at the restaurant until 2:30 a.m. When it was time to get a move on, Depp and his party paid the bill and Depp left a $4,000 tip for the super surprised waiter!

Mohammed A. Sekhani, called the “waiter to the stars” because his section in the restaurant is highly in demand by the Hollywood set, stated “Depp hosted a party of 15 people, including Mann and Cotillard, and the tip was split 12 ways. Depp is the finest of all the stars I have ever waited on. And he is a true icon, and his ability to respect others is phenomenal. He loves Chicago, and Chicago loves him. Depp is one cool and generous dude.”

Johnny Depp’s newest film “Public Enemies” will be released nationwide on Wednesday, July 1st. His next two films will be “The Rum Diaries” directed by Bruce Robinson and “Alice in Wonderland” directed by his longtime artistic soul mate Tim Burton.
