Due to the memorial event for Michael Jackson on Tuesday, July 07, 2009, LADOT anticipates route closures and substantial delays due to congestion.
Routes that are not directly impacted may also experience route detours and delays due to congestion in the area.
LADOT will resume regular service at 1:00 PM or as soon as conditions permit. We apologize for the delays and encourage you to plan your trip accordingly.

On a similar note the City of Los Angeles will accept tax deductible donations to defray the cost of providing public safety associated with the funeral service of Michael Jackson.
