Do Women Like Fishing?

Women fishing

I don't want this to turn into a fist fight or anything like that. Women fishing is a statement that can be used in many different ways. We all know that through the years women have been treated as the inferior gender. Kind of like barefoot and pregnant. That's kind of what got me thinking about this article and my all time favourite sport.

Women fishing has become a norm instead of a rarity. Maybe the fishing thing is a bad analogy of where women have come to in 2009 but that's a fact of life and all men around need to accept it. I work in a very male dominated job of which we are seeing more and more women every day. They are doing the job just as good if not better then a lot of the men. In fact many men are fighting just to keep their jobs. Not because they can't do them but because they assume the women cant.

This brings me back to women fishing. Do they need to do their hair, put on makeup and get all dressed up to go the lake and get dirty. Well I guess that should be up to them. If a woman wants to look good then so be it. We should take pride in the fact that our partner wants to look good no matter where she goes with us.

Some women might read this wrong so let me explain myself. Women fishing or a woman doing anything that at one time was male dominated is a great thing. I for one have no interest in telling any woman that she can't do something. Unlike a man she will work her proverbial butt off to prove you wrong. I can't imagine any woman these days not wanting to be treated as an equal when it comes to life issues.

However, men when it comes to women fishing you must still know that for the most part your partner still wants to be told she looks good, she wants you to open the door for her and take her out for a romantic evening. To me that is the best of two worlds. I have a partner that wants to go everywhere with me, do the things I love and still be my partner. How could anyone ask for anything more.
