Beckham Booed Is The Highlight Of LA Galaxy Vs AC Milan

David Beckham was booed by the fans of his own team yesterday in the game between LA Galaxy and AC Milan. While the game was finished 2-2 some called the episodic between Bekcham and one of the fans as one of the hightlights of the game.

Fans booed Beckham from the first minutes as he entered the game under the number 23. Beckham was playing in Milan during the winter season and it happened that ironically the first game LA Galaxy played against AC Milan. On the platforms there were banners such as «Go home, liar» and «23: repent».

Leaving on a break, David shouted something to one of the fans. Fan, sitting not far from the field, jumped from the podium and ran to Beckham, but was held by security guards.

Meanwhile, the game ended with the score 2:2, but Bekhem, played 75 minutes and gave a pass that ended with a goal, reports the Associated Press.

I think the reason why Beckham was booed by his own fans is because he has expressed desire to return to Europe and prepare for the 2010 World Cup, hoping to play for England.

Here is a revealing news release published in AC Milan's website. The source is Football Italia. See it below

David Beckham reveals he has to be playing in Europe, “hopefully Milan,” before the 2010 World Cup on Fabio Capello’s orders.

The five-month loan move to Serie A boosted his England hopes and earned him a recall for qualifiers, but now he is back with LA Galaxy the problems have arisen.

"Leading up to the World Cup, the England manager has made it very clear to me that I need to be playing at a European level," he told the BBC.

The 34-year-old has been linked with a return to the Premier League, but Becks repeatedly stated he wants another spell at Milan when his contract reaches a buy-out clause in November.

"I will do everything possible. I'll always regret it if I didn't do everything to give myself a chance to be involved in [the World Cup.]

"At the moment, my priority is the rest of the season and also playing and keeping in every squad for England and representing my country.

“Going forward, of course I want to be involved in the World Cup. I've not hidden that fact."

Something has changed in the landscape, though, as Carlo Ancelotti’s move to Chelsea could open the door for Beckham to play in England again.

"Never say never. I would definitely consider it. When I left my heart was in Manchester - I couldn't see myself playing against United. Now I wouldn't rule it out.

"Obviously, Milan expressed that they want me to go back, so I don't see any reason why that would change. We'll have to wait and see. I hope to be going back there."

Meanwhile, the England international has sorted out his differences after a public spat with Galaxy teammate Landon Donovan.

"I'm not going to talk about what was said. That was between me, Landon and the manager but we had a good talk."
