Mattress Dominos, which are apparently popular in colleges and students play it, has become the attention of a major mattress maker company Bensons for Beds. The company attempted a Guinness World Records by playing Mattress Dominos in its warehouse.
The company posted a youtube video asking to "Watch us attempt to set the World Record for Mattress Dominoes." I counted 41 people participating in the Mattress Dominos at the Bensons for Beds warehouse.
The last person falls on the conveyor. Then it moves and goes to the truck. The last person on the mattress enters the truck and it moves. A very cool way of getting attention by the company. Another good way of thinking out of the Box.
Yesterday we wrote about an NJ mom making cakes to prevent her foreclosure. Now this story about a college student custom, the Mattress Dominos, adapted by a major Mattress company. We hope they get the Guinness World Records and also improve their sales.
The video of the Mattress Dominos reads that they actually got the world record. The attempt was made on July 26 of 2009. Bravo for another out of the box thinking by a major American company.
