I am completely blown away every time I go there. I always feel as if I have the whole place to myself.
The first thing you will notice when arriving is that from a distance the swimming pool seems to blend in to the ocean although they are in no way connected to each other. The ocean is a flight of stairs down to the beach below the pool. It's just the altitude of the pool which gives it the illusion as if it is seamlessly connected to the ocean. The swimming pool is sectioned into three different depths making it safe for your children. I find that many pools can be over chlorinated but these pools are not.
As you make your way down to the beach you'll notice that the white sand is so fine it feels as if the sand was designed to contour to the shape of your foot as it gently massages your feet in every step you take. The sky above you is pollution free and the only sound you'll hear are the ocean waves. The water is always kept very clean from garbage or anything that might wash ashore. The beach is also free from vendors or anyone trying to sell you something.
When looking out at the ocean from the beach you will notice the man made island which you can usually just walk to due to the frequent low tides. I should also mention that Bohol itself is protected from typhoons by other Philippine islands that surround it. As you walk out to the man made beach you'll notice different kinds of marine life swimming around you. Most of them resembling something you would see in any salt water aquarium. These tiny ocean fish that live around the man made structure add even more beauty to the place. The man made island is a great place to snap off some pictures or have some lunch.
If that's not enough, the resort offers a full size tennis court, a gym and an in-house spa where you can get a great massage and lose yourself in the soothing sounds of the forest. They have Oceanside, forest, or garden view bungalows with big windows that make you feel as if you are surrounded by the beauty of the island. The rooms are quite spacious and have everything to accommodate your needs.
