Registration at Harvard Extension School is very easy. To take courses at Harvard Extension School, you simply register. No application is required.
How and when to register

Institute for English Language (IEL): To register for an English course for nonnative speakers, visit the IEL website for dates and instructions.

Register now through August 30. If you register for at least 1 course by August 30, you can add courses August 31 to September 13 without a late fee. After classes begin August 31, you can register late, with a $50 late fee, through September 13.

Courses at Harvard Extension School may be dropped for a full-tuition refund during this time. See the calendar for complete dates.

Registration at Harvard Extension School requires full payment of tuition (listed in course descriptions) and a nonrefundable $50 registration fee each term. For payment information, including financial aid, see Tuition and Payment.
