Currently watching the Hudson river crash area we see many bots and other helicopters approaching for rescue, but at this time it's not known is there are any survivors. If you are in the area please email info@huliq.com images. We will post here for our readers.
Hudson river was another plane crash area, when on January 15 US Airways Jet made an emergency crash landing on Hudson River with 146 passengers on board. Thank God no one was hurt.
The first reports of today's Hudson river crash came over emergency radios shortly before noon.
While the river may have nothing to do with the crash, many will wonder, why a helicopter and plane could not avoid each other over the Hudson river. I read this tweet, which I don't know how much of it is true. Samwhitmore writes that flying the Hudson River air corridor is scary. ATC has no radar coverage at such low altitudes and offers no help. Pilots are on their own."
Liberty Tours is a tourist helicopter company that gives ride to NYC tourists over the city. Currently we tried to access the website www.libertyhelicopters.com/, but due it's very slow in opening.
