Whether the 2011 Chevy Cruz will help or save GM's car sales only the time will show, but GM is already offering an email signup to get Cruze news updates. Apparently GM has embarked on a massive campaign to promote Chevy Cruze, the production of which is expected next year. Now future drivers can sign up with Chevrolet to stay up to date.

Chevy Cruze is Chevrolet's new entry into the compact car segment. GM says the 2011 was developed by a global design and engineering team with "sophisticated styling cues that are fast becoming the signature for Chevrolet.

On 2011 Cruze's official site, which is under GM's future vehicles column Chevrolet writes that "Cruze boasts ample interior space, surprising cargo capacity and comfortable seating for five. With exacting safety standards and quality build, Cruze delivers on Chevy's promise to offer a smartly designed compact at an exceptional value."

The Spring of 2010 will mark the start of the production of the 2011 Chevy Cruze. According to BBC, GM has chosen Lordstown General Motors (GM) Assembly Plant for the production of Chevy Cruze 2011. It also reports that GM has heavily invested in 2011 Cruze, naming the exact month of the production as next April.

Chevy Cruze is a small car on which GM has put big dreams. One of the company's managers at the Lordstown Plant, Tom Mock explained it to me in local terms like this: "The Chevy Cruze is a catalyst in the success of not only north-east Ohio, but the state of Ohio," writes BBC.
