According to the plan, now families can enjoy a four-day, four-night getaway at a Disneyland® Resort hotel — including 4-Day Disneyland Resort Park Hopper® Souvenir Tickets. However, it needs to be booked between August 12, 2009 and December 17, 2009 for arrivals from August 23, 2009 to December 20, 2009. I think still a very good deal for a good time.
I don't see how families can benefit, as children start school next week. Perhaps during the fall vacation break the deal may appeal to many U.S. families to take advantage and visit the Disneyland resort.
According to LA Times, its reporter "called and asked for prices on Nov. 29-Dec. 3 for two adults (children under 3 get free admission to the park). The complete package price, including hotel and park-hopper admission tickets for all four days, came to $1,057 for Disneyland’s Paradise Point Hotel. The price came to $1,726 for the Disneyland Grand Californian Hotel & Spa."
LA Times reporter does acknowledge that it was "very annoying" to tell the agent the names of family members, home address, phone number and child’s birthday just to get a price when calling for a quote by phone.
The information that is provided from the Disneyland Resort also includes the following details among other rules.
"The Disneyland® Resort Park Hopper® Souvenir Tickets expire 13 days after first use or December 30, 2009, whichever occurs first, and each day of use of a ticket constitutes one full day of use. Tickets may not be sold or transferred for commercial purposes. The number of rooms allocated for this package may be restricted and are subject to the blockout dates of November 25, 2009 to November 27, 2009; advance reservations required. Not valid with group rates or any other discount or promotion. Subject to restrictions and change without notice. Total package price starting from $1,382. Walt Disney Travel Company CST: 1022229-50.
"Magic Morning entry allows admission into selected attractions at Disneyland® Park before the park opens to the public on Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday or Saturday. To maximize your early entry experience, it is strongly recommended that you arrive at least one hour and fifteen minutes prior to regular park opening. Based on availability and subject to restrictions. Applicable days and times of operation and all other elements including, but not limited to, operation of attractions, entertainment, stores and restaurants and appearances of Characters may vary and are subject to change without notice."
