Matt Damon to receive acting career recognition

Movie actor Matt Damon, the protagonist of the saga "Bourne" will receive recognition for his acting career. It is the American Cinematheque Award. An award that will distinguishe the achievements of his career.

The magazine "Variety" reported that after the confirmation from Damon that he will attend the next year's ceremony, ABC decided air the event on 27 March. It means after the awards season of the Golden Globes and the Oscars.

This implies that there will be ceremony this year. The previous winner was Samuel L. Jackson, who received the recognition in December 2008. Before that it was Julia Roberts in 2007.

Famous for his role as agent Jason Bourne in the trilogy dedicated to the character, Damon will return to screens in 2011 again as the brilliant spy in a new yet unnamed film. Could it be Bourne 4? it remains to be seen.
