The Swedish car manufacturer Volvo, Ford group, has selected the Frankfurt International Motor Show to present the public with the revamped version of its Volvo C70 convertible car model. It will come with an updated design, the company said in a statement.
The new 2010 Volvo C70 has, like its predecessor, a high level of security is very practical for comfortably seating four people. This comes in addition to the new design.
Chief Designer of Volvo Exterior Design, Fedde Talsma, explained that the 2010 Volvo C70 has the classic lines of the convertible and a strong identity. "What we have done is carefully redesigning the front and the back to harmonize further with Volvo models of today and tomorrow," he added.
Among the major design details are included the high-tech LEDs in the rear, similar to riding the XC60, while inside the car there is a redesigned instrument panel and a surface with new texture.
The range of engines of this convertible shall consist of three petrol mechanical 140, 170 and 220 horses, while diesel engines are two: one with 136 horsepower and 180 other horses.
As the release and the new video of the Volvo C70 is unveiled today we are curious to see how the new 2010 car will be received by the public and the analysts of the industry. The 2010 Volvo C70 looks tight and tough. However, I don't find it aggressive. Yet the car looks like known how to assert itself.
The Frankfurt Motor Show will be open from September 17 to September 27 in Frankfurt on Main in Germany.
