On its website the Skyline college has posted an emergency information informing of a shooting at the campus and gives safety types for students. Police is currently searching the suspects.
"Emergency Notification: We have had a shooting on campus and are now in lockdown. Please shelter in place, away from windows, with doors shut until further notice. We sent an emergency text message to all students. Wednesday evening classes have been cancelled."
According to Mercurynews.com one of the students called 911 and said that the victim had a backpack. The caller was in the Learning center when the door opened and the victim burst into the room and said that he was shot.
Bloom TV just tweeted few moments ago about the Skyline College shooting and wrote that the college students are evacuated. The police is expected to start a press conference shortly.
The emergency text message that the Skyline college administration has sent to the students is sent to 9,300 students who are on the alert program. However, the school has 10,000 students.
The word about the Skyline College shooting is traveling fast over the internet and people are informing each other and relatives to spread the word to inform as many students or the campus area residents as possible. They also ask to pray for the vicitim's health.
Skyline college is located in San Bruno, in California.
