U.S. stocks jumped this morning at the NYSE open as investors returned from a long holiday weekend.
Stock futures are climbing and currently Dow is up 35 points. At some point at the stock market open Dow Jones Industrial Average was up 50 points.
While the U.S. dollar lost some ground, gold claimed the 1000 dollar level. Crude oil went up to 69 dollar level looking at what OPEC meeting will come up with in terms of cutting or increasing oil production.
The S&P 500, which closed Friday with a 1.3% gain, rose 11.5 points to 1,025.40 and Nasdaq 100 futures added 16.75 points to 1,652.20.
