Arthur Abraham Plans to Get Into Real Estate

IBF world boxing champion in the Middle weight category, Arthur Abraham, during his interview to Russian sports news site Championat.ru, talked about his rival Jermain Taylor in the coming match, mentioning his strengths and weaknesses. He also told about his interest to get into real estate in Germany.

“Transfering to the first welterweight category changed my tactics in preparing for fights. Now I pay more attention to the physical aspect. The new weight category assumes stronger and more powerful rivals. Instead, I am not required to lose all 8 kg before the fight: 4 kg is sufficient. Overall, however, the changes are not many. I would say, psychological preparedness, rather than physical, is needed. One can train very well before the fight, but if you are not ready psychologically, the trainings will come to nothing.

“Presently, I am training in Berlin. Tomorrow, on September 17, I will leave for Tsinnovits, near the Baltic Sea. I will have several preparatory fights there. I will return to Berlin a week before the fight with Taylor.

“I know the latter very well. In the near future, I am going to watch several of his fights and study his tactics in detail. Yes, Taylor is a serious rival. He has had great achievements in his career,” Abraham said.
