The president of Venezuela just spoke at the UN conference this afternoon and just finished his speech with a song and a testimony to Christ's Kindom and the future of the world.

Hugo Chavez said during his UN speech this afternoon called on the leaders to be the midwifes of the future history of the world. He referred to the Brazilian president Lula's world that the future history of the world is coming and that we are called to be the midwifes of the future history of the world.

Then he said "I am a Christian," and refereed to salvation and the Kingdom of God. Chavez said that Christ said His kingdom is not from his world and referred to the future coming of the world. So he called on the people to build the future of the "free world." Yes he referred to it as free world as part of his vision.

Even the president of Slovenia made an indirect reference to Chavez's UN Speech when he said "We hared many powerful words, even words about salvation."

Then Chavez at the end of his speech sang a short song with rhythm. Hugo Chavez is known to be someone who loves singing. I remember seeing him singing with the Moscow students during his last visit to Russia.

Chaveze's speech finished at 4PM EST with a hand kiss to the United Nations and ovations.
