AP reports that Audit Bureau of Circulations journal issued its numbers today. However, those numbers won't be released until later this month.
USA today, which last week said that it had a huge decline in circulation which amounted to 17 percent to 1.88 million, was long time the number one most circulated newspaper in the nation.
Yet, the Audit Beureau of Circulations, while not releasing its numbers, says the average number of copies sold in the April to September period reached 2.02 million, up about 12,000 from the same period a year earlier.
The Audit Beureau of Circulations also released its survey results of Mobile Circulations.
I concludes that while early, there are positive sings in regard to mobile traffic. Mobile will drive the traffic in the future. While the future business models will be based on the combination of advertising and subscriptions advertiser demand for accountability will grow as ad spend grows.
