Current economic difficulties have made many retailers to give an early start to their Black Friday 2009 deals and offer discounts ahead of the competing retailers in the hope of making more sales. In fact Sears was one of them that started its Black Friday 2009 deals last week.

Other retailers have joined the move and quietly started offer their own discount deals ahead of the 2009 Black Friday. DealNews.com has a list of some "quality" Black Friday discounts, which are currently available today. The positive in this trend is that hopefully shoppers will start earlier this year and that this post-Thanksgiving Friday would be better and safer for store workers than the one last year.

In fact, last year the Black Friday deals and discounts result the sales going up 3 percent. Those were the numbers presented by ShopperTrak RCT Corp., a Chicago-based research firm that tracks sales at more than 50,000 retail outlets. Analysts will closely watch the sales this year to see how the retail industry fares as the country is just getting out of one of the worst recessions in its history.
