Republican Bob McDonnell Winner In Virginia

Republican candidate Bob McDonnell becomes the winner and the elected Virginia governor. This election result may be the breaking news of the 2009 elections and here is why.

Now this can really be a test for the Obama Administration and Democrats. Virginia is the state where the African American Voters helped Mr. Obama become the first Democratic presidential candidate to win the state since 1964.

Yet, this change of heart is a big test the administration and the Democratic party. Democrats say that these elections are elections, but not a referendum whether the president Obama is doing a good or a bad job.

The economy, jobs and health care are top issues that concern voters during this election. The results will reflect how voters approve the job of the current administration and its policies.
