Scientists discover the formula for the perfect face

New research from the University of Toronto shows what constitutes the beautiful face. It seems that the beautiful face is a matter of inches. The key is the distance between the eyes, mouth and ears. Now see who is the most beautiful face according to the research.

According to the study, Canadian pop singer Shania Twain would be the personification of the perfect face. In fact, Angelina Jolie, according to this preliminary study would not be the most beautiful woman and would not meet the golden ration. Meanwhile, British actress Elizabeth Hurley would comply only with the height formula, and not the wide.

The study was conducted by the University of Toronto and published in the journal Vision Research.

The scientists asked a group of students to rank several pictures of the faces of the same woman. Each picture was changed with Photoshop, where the distance between the eyes and the mouth was changed.

After a series of experiments, they concluded that the distance between the eyes and mouth should be third - or more precisely 36% - of the total length of the face, starting from the forehead to the chin just.

As for the width, the gap between female pupils should be slightly less than half - more precisely 46% - the total width of the face from ear to ear.

However, women not meeting this criteria should not despair.

Professor David Perrett from the Perception Lab at St Andrew's University, points out that surely a woman's features are more important than the distance between them. Thus, most men would, for example, be more attracked to larger eyes or a face that looks younger, rather than the distance between the eyes, ears and mouth.
