Netflix Wii News Is NFLX's Gain

Netflix Wii cooperation news that broke out this morning is a fresh development for both the video game and the movie industry. Both of them would have appreciated this positive news, which also helped to lift already strong Netflix (Symbol: NFLX) stock.

Netflix is living one of its best days this week and today. The NFLX is trading in the range of all time highs. The news is simple. All three console now will stream Netflix. Wii becomes the 3rd after XBOX 360 and PS3.

The move puts Netflix in a strongly advantageous position compared to Blockbuster and RedBox. Some analysts have already suggested to say good night to Blockbuster. RedBox, with its comfortable and more-available locations has remained as the sole competitor to Netflix. Last year Blockbuster had already announced that it will close 960 stores nationwide.

Redbox needs to make itself now even more available online, on games, on mobile devices, possibly on iphones and even in Ford's Sync, to make it available on cars for the back seat passengers. Otherwise, it will just be a matter of time that customers will realize there is not need to rent anymore.

These days, some TVs already come Netflix enabled. Now the video game consoles.

Netflix Wii service will cost $8.99 and is by subscription. Netflix will offer 17,000 movies and TV shows that can be seen on real time with data streaming technology.

The service is by subscription, with fees from $ 8.99 a month and offers a set of more than 17,000 movies and TV shows that can be seen at the right time through the data stream technology.

Nintendo America's COO Reggie Fils-Aimé, commenting on Netflix Wii deal, says that "86 percent of all U.S. Wii consoles are located in the living room." This puts the Wii users and American families in a comfortable position to use the service and say good buy to Blockbuster and Redbox.
