House Pet Queensland Heeler Saves Owner

If you want to keep a dog in your house you may want to consider a Queensland Heeler. At least one family in Arizona has a big reason to give thanks for having a Queensland Heeler in their home as the pet saved their three years old daughter's life.

According to WFIE a three years old girl in Cordes Lake Arizona was found alive thanks to family's Queensland Heeler who stayed with the little girl in the woods overnight and kept her alive. Victoria Bensch, the 3 ears old girl disappeared yesterday and was found today.

She was playing outside with the family's Queensland Heeler and then got lost. The entire town and the authorities were searching for her. The dog stayed with her in the 30 degree weather in the woods overnight.

This morning, the helicopter crew found her and the dog in the woods. Relatives say the family's Queensland Heeler was a God-sent factor that helped her to stay alive.

The girl said she went to look for Rusty, who is the other family dog. Rusty was in the house all night long. But the Queensland Heeler followed her and probably they cuddled together to stay warm.
