The publication aims to honor the boldest and toughest real estate deals. They range from green construction, which has become the new gold in the real estate development, to affordable housing and other land deals.

On March 24, 2010 not only deals, but also outstanding individuals cutting those deals will be honored in Palace Hotel, located on Montgomery Street in San Francisco. It starts at 5:30, but the award ceremony itself will start at 6PM. There will be a gala reception in the Garden Court after the honoring ceremony.

Some of the boldest and toughest real estate finalists are Creekside Office Plaza, Arnett Watson Apartments, Bank of the West - Bishop Ranch and Ironhorse at Central Station. The list of the finalists also includes an education establishment like the Lorry Lokey Graduate School of Business at Mills College and a cultural center like the Walt Disney Family Museum.
