Former British Cabinet Member: Blair Lied About Iraq

A former British Cabinet Member Clare Short, who later resigned, today told the UK's Iraq Inquiry that Tony Blair lied about Iraq, reports Daily Mail. 'I am not saying he was insincere. I think he was willing to be deceitful on this because he thought it was right,' she told told the Chilcot Inquiry into the war.

Speaking of the current British Prime Minister, Miss Short said Gordon Brown appeared to cast aside his doubts about the war after settling personal differences with Mr Blair.

On January 29th, Tony Blair faced very difficult questions from the Iraq Inquiry panel and anger from the soldier families about how sincere was he when leading his nation to invading Iraq.
