iPhone 3GS Goes On Sale, Lines Smaller

While the iPhone 3GS lines are smaller this year than in the past, analysts say the sales of the new iPhones will still be stronger. Some though, question this thought.

PC Magazine writes that Apple, apparently expected longer iPhone 3GS lines. "The line-up at the flagship Apple Store on 59th Street in Manhattan was clearly less than Apple had planned, though." The size of approximate line up is about 100 people for iPhone 3GS. The availability is OK.

According to Examiner "While sales during opening weekend are predicted to be lower, overall sales through the first full quarter should be the strongest of any iPhone. Munster is predicting 12 million units to be sold through the first full quarter, compared to around 11 million iPhone 3G sales."
