You are discouraged, but he gives you courage. You are disappointing, but he gives you hope. You think everything around you is falling apart, but he works constantly to build things up. "My Father is always at his work to this very day, and I too am working." John 5:17.
You don't live on our own, but it is our loving heavenly Father who gives us life and sustains it. It is he who breaths his breath into our nostrils and we live.
Remember the beginning. "Then the LORD God formed a man from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living being." Genesis 2:7.
